Alumina Ceramic Foam Filters Application
Alumina Ceramic Foam Filters are produced based on a carrier with a solid reticular structure and combined organic foam pores.
The production procedure is as follows: place the carrier into the thixotropic alumina slurry, utilize a square-to-center correcting automatic extrusion process to ensure even deposition of the slurry within the foam skeleton of the carrier. Following drying and solidification, the carrier is then transformed into the final product through roasting at a temperature of 1180 ℃.
The filter is installed in the filter bowl for filtering impurities in molten aluminum alloy, which helps to meet the requirements of production in high-value-added, high-tech performance aluminum alloy precision casting, such as computer hard drives, PS baseboard for printing, canning materials, fan blades for turbojet engines, etc.
